What this site actually stores, in plain language.

This site sets exactly one cookie, cv_device. It contains a randomly generated identifier and nothing else — no name, email address, IP address, or other identifying information is attached to it, and it is never shared with any third party.

It exists only so the site can remember, on its own server, whether your browser has already found certain hidden sections, and to enforce an in-story restriction if a particular game on the site ends in a loss. Without it, the site would have no way to tell returning visitors apart from new ones, and every hidden mechanic would have to trust whatever the browser claims about itself — which is easy to fake.

This site does not use analytics, does not use advertising trackers, and does not set any other cookie.
